FAQ

  • What is Life Capital? — A facilitated board simulation of a whole life: five to eight players at one table live through about 40 years of earning, spending, investing and unexpected events, and see in numbers what each decision cost them.
  • Who is it for? — Teenagers, adults, corporate teams and schools. Individuals join open sessions and tournaments, schools run it as a club through the school year, and companies book a session for their own team.
  • How long is a session and who runs it? — Five hours: a 30-minute briefing, two hours of play, a break, one hour 45 minutes more, then 30 minutes of feedback. A Trainer leads the table and a Banker keeps the accounts.
  • Do I need any prior knowledge? — No. Everything a player needs is explained at the table before the first move, and the Trainer walks the group through the first year of play.
  • How do I register? — Through the registration form on this page, or by writing to [email protected]. Dates of open sessions and tournaments are listed on the Events page.

FAQ

  • How long is a corporate session? — Three to four hours for 6 to 18 participants, preceded by a 30-minute briefing in which we agree the two or three metrics you want to compare before and after.
  • Where do you run it? — In your office, off-site or online. The materials travel with the Trainer; the room needs tables for groups of five to eight and a whiteboard.
  • What does a team leave with? — Agreed decision-making principles, a map of who took which role under pressure, and five to seven concrete process improvements the team writes itself.
  • How do we book one? — Write to [email protected]. We confirm a date, the group size and the briefing before anything is scheduled.

FAQ

  • Can it be run in a school? — Yes, both as a single session inside a lesson and as a club that runs through the whole school year. The methodology has carried the approval of Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science since 2020 and runs in 200+ school clubs.
  • Who leads a school club? — A teacher from the school, prepared in the methodology. The club keeps running between sessions because the school owns it, not a visiting facilitator.
  • How does a school apply? — Write to [email protected] or use the form on this page. We talk through the timetable, the group size and how a pilot session fits into your term.
